This page explains what information SFIII: 3rd Strike PAL World collects, why, and how you can control or remove it. This is a small, fan-run community site, and this policy is written to plainly match what the site actually does — not a generic template.
What we collect
- Account info: username, email address, and a securely hashed password (we never store your actual password). Email is used only to verify your account and to send password-reset links — we don't send marketing email and don't sell or share it.
- Content you upload: PAL mod images, titles, and descriptions you choose to submit, along with which character you tagged them under.
- Activity: which mods you've Liked, Favorited, which users you Follow, and reports you file — all tied to your account so we can show your profile, your favorites, and keep counts accurate.
- Guests (no account): a random anonymous cookie so you can Like mods without registering. It isn't tied to any personal information and we don't use it to track you across other sites.
- Standard technical logs: like most websites, our server may log IP addresses and request details for security and abuse prevention. We don't use this for profiling or marketing.
Cookies
We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a CSRF-protection token stored in that session (security, not tracking), and — for guests only — an anonymous cookie so Likes aren't lost between visits. We don't use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.
Third parties
Pages on this site load web fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a direct request to Google's servers to fetch them (subject to Google's own privacy policy). We don't share your account data, uploads, or activity with any other third party.
How your content is used
Mods you upload are shown publicly — that's the point of the site. Your username is shown alongside anything you upload, Like, or Favorite. Admins can remove content that violates our Terms of Service or is reported by other users.
Your choices
- You can change your password or delete your account entirely from Account Settings — deleting your account permanently removes your profile, uploaded mods, likes, and favorites.
- You can unfollow anyone, or unlike/unfavorite anything, at any time.
- You can ask us to review or remove specific data by contacting an admin (see below).
Children's privacy
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
